All the boats have been transported to dry land for Winter storage leaving the docks and marina water ghosted. Fourteen boardwalks pike out into the icy waters giving plenty of surface variations for the camera to play with. In two days I have inspected nine of them; the bitter cold forcing me to periodically retreat to the confines of my warm car. Today, as hot ginger tea pacified my senses I watched the canines run wild in the dog park thirty feet ahead, vicariously filling my mood with their joy before going back beneath the unforgiving gray sky.
